What is Sunekos?

Sunekos is a new, intelligent injectable substance containing a potent cocktail of amino acids and hyaluronic acid (HA). These are vital building blocks of healthy and hydrated skin. Sunekos works by stimulating the fibroblasts in the skin to encourage it to produce a complete mix of collagen and elastin, restoring the vibrancy, youthful glow and health of the skin in a course of 4 treatment sessions every 7 to 10 days.

Is Sunekos a filler?

Although Sunekos contains hyaluronic acid, which is present in most modern, temporary dermal fillers, it differs in that it does not physically plump the skin, but creates a more natural result by communicating with the skin on an intercellular level so that it can heal and mend itself. This is due to the added amino acids present in Sunekos which are vital in the maintenance of healthy, youthful-looking skin.

How effective is Sunekos?

In clinical trials, results showed that after 10 days after the first treatment session with Sunekos there is a significant improvement in deep skin hydration and skin surface hydration, which remains present, even after 6 months.

Am I suitable for Sunekos?

Most patients with significant signs of ageing will be suitable for Sunekos. However, prior to any non-surgical treatment here at Dentelle, Dr Quinn will request that you attend a no obligation consultation to assess your skin concerns and to check your medical history. Dr Quinn will also explain the treatment process and the kind of results you can expect from the treatment. Once this initial meeting has been completed and she is happy to go ahead, you will be able to have the initial Sunekos treatment.

What is involved in a Sunekos treatment?

Sunekos comes in 2 formulations – Sunekos 200 (suitable if you have less visible wrinkles) and Sunekos 1200 (if you have more advanced visible signs of ageing). They can also be used in combination to provide outstanding results.

You will have 4 sessions each between 7 to 10 days apart. Dr Quinn will inject in several points, surrounding your area of concern.

When will I see results?

You can see a marked improvement as the treatments progress, but for the very best results possible, the complete course of 4 sessions must be completed in the time allocated.

How long do results last?

Expect results to last around 6 months. However, you might be able to enjoy the results from Sunekos for longer, if you maintain a healthy lifestyle and good skincare routine at home.
